One of the trends we’re tracking in 2018 is the bold use of color for cabinets.  Whether it’s a kitchen island, or powder room vanity, color pops are everywhere this year!

We are particularly inspired by the 2019 Sherwin Williams® color of the year, CAVERN CLAY.

Terracotta was seen at this year’s EuroCucina show, which you can read in our June blog post, here!

According to the Sherwin-Williams website, “Cavern Clay is a warm terracotta color with ancient, elemental roots. [It] is a nod to midcentury modern style, but with the soul of the American Southwest, which together creates a desert modern aesthetic.”

Cavern Clay has motivated us to create our own inspiration board, gathering up other rich orange product trends.  And guess what?  There are quite a few!

What goes with Cavern Clay, you ask? We think this color is stunning paired with our crisp white paint in Glacier, Alder in the dark Hazelnut stain, Quarter Sawn White Oak in the traditional Prairie stain, or even Composite Quartered Maple for a modern twist.

At Greenfield Cabinetry, we offer a Sherwin-Williams and Benjamin Moore® Designer Paint Program.  This program provides homeowners with the ability to match any current Sherwin-Williams or Benjamin Moore standard fan color for a modest fee.  Which means… you can mix and match colors to your heart’s content!
