What better way to stay in the holiday spirit, than a GREEN kitchen all year round?
Greenfield designer, Brandie McCoy of Ember & Brune, LLC located in Chicago, Illinois shares her inspirations for a recent kitchen remodel.
Brandie and her customer went bold with this design. The couple was approaching retirement and wanted to move closer to their children and grandchildren. When buying this home, they knew there would be some downsizing, so maximizing space and creating an open feel were the top priorities in their kitchen renovation. The kitchen was closed off from the rest of the house and was outdated and plain.
The space was completely reconfigured; walls came down, cabinetry storage and functionality were maximized, and the aesthetic of the space was reimagined.
The kitchen now has an open floor plan into the dining room and living room, and now has space for a breakfast nook and coffee station.
The paint color is the true focal point of inspiration for this space.
The kitchen features the Greenfield Jackson A door style, with a Benjamin Moore® Bavarian Forest custom paint. At Greenfield Cabinetry, we offer a Sherwin Williams® and Benjamin Moore Designer Paint Program. This program provides homeowners with the ability to match any current Sherwin Williams or Benjamin Moore standard fan color for a modest fee.
